Hi I'v not tryed posting before so addvise away I'm looking for ideas on building rotating racks for my horizontal drum smoker.I saw one on the net but it seemed small and I want one the length of the drum.I have a weldor and other basic tools so if you have an idea or two have at her.

Welcome to the forum TerryJoe! That's an interesting idea. I can't say that I've given that one much thought as I have an upright drum smoker. But, I would imaging that you would want a main shaft that goes through and have a rotisserie motor connected to that shaft on the outside of the smoker. Then it would just be a matter of building the racks and making them on spindles so they can always stay upright while the main shaft is spinning.
