Just got this drum, is this 1 ok to use?

there is a seam on the inside. do all drums have seams? check images for close up.

just want to make sure this is ok to use and burn out.

Hello PotaetoSON .. I am by no means the most knowledgeable guy on here, so wait for some more responses too. I have seen that forumites and from what I have seen BPS only recommends food grade drums, that's because no one can or will verify a drum will be safe for you to prepare food in after it has contained chemicals or petroleum products. They want you to be safe! And as far as burning goes, I burned mine much longer than 4-6hrs and still did not take all the lining and paint off. Ended up having to have it sandblasted and painted.

If it were me and my family, I'd recommend only a food grade drum or a new drum. When it comes to my family's health, a few bucks isn't worth the risk down the road.

for what its worth mine was not food grade, but new unused and sandblasted before the powder coat
