Double Rack indirect setup

Just another use for the drum. The pan used is a 20 quart,the insert I think are 16 and 9. I just find what fits best when at the store. The tabs are 2 inches long. It fits on the higher basket mount. I have run the drum at 250 and both racks are the same temp within a few degrees.
the height is 8 inches just like the top shelf.

This shows the 20 with a 16 in it and a 9 upside down

Foiling needs to be neat underneath so it doesn't effect air flow

The bottom rack sets on the pan.

Cooks like a WSM? What's the function of the upside down 9"?

On my 18 WSM I use a 1/2 inch thick aluminum round between the two pans on this set up I used the 9 upside down. It all evens out temps on the rack and gives support to the foil .
