Just went to a giant discount store for the first time yesterday. Wow, I was totally blown away. I found a Restaurant Depot about an hour away from here. I can not believe the variety and quantity of beef, pork and seafood they have. Not frozen.I finally saw all the different cuts of beef and pork first hand that is talked about on the forum. I basically went just to look around the first time. Ended coming out with 10 pounds of baby backs,18 pounds of bone in butts and 5-1 pound containers of some spices I needed for 60 bucks. not to bad IMO. They do not have shopping carts only the big flat bed carts like a Home Depot. Can't wait to go back and check out the cheese and produce. An amazing place.

You need a business license to become a member of Restaurant Depot. They are now selling liquor at the RD's in WA. ST., but you need a restaurant license to buy that there. If you have a friend that has a business license and you don't, get him to join. They'll print out as many scan cards under that name as you request.

P.S. I forgot to add that at RD when the meats get close to their "best by" date they discount the cuts. They carry cryovac packs of peeled tri-tip- around 7-8 per pack that I picked up the last time for $2.80/lb. It's like 28 day wet aged beef that I re- vacpac and put in the freezer till needed.
