Brisket on the BPS Drum

Seasoned and trimmed it up set the drum for 240 and relaxed...

foiled at 155 with some secret stuff....
then separated the point from the flat and held the flat in foil in a cooler with towels and diced the burnt ends on with some of my favorite sauce and honey and water to thin it cooked them for about 20 minutes tossing once or twice

wow, those burnt ends look like they need some toothpicks. that last pic of the burnt ends should be a poster. i love the slices. nice cook partner. :cool: how long did it take to cook the brisket?

Friggn awesome! I want to get to where I can do a brisket but I need some more time under my belt. All you superstars keep posting your cooks and I will keep working at following directions. Great site for a greenhorn like me.

Five hours at 240. Sounds like a new fast way to cook a brisket. With a low heat. I honestly switch brisket out of the party menus for Tri tip, this could put brisket back in the mix. The burnt ends we are waiting for the video on how to recreate!
