...so, I've been using the Vortex Firebasket in my BPS, 55 & 85 Gallon BDS clones with fantastic results, my teammate and myself decided to build a Hunsakers Smokers clone and it is a great addition to the arsenal. Using parts available from their site, the can went together pretty smoothly.

The intake is regulated by a slide damper that covers a 1.5" hole in the bottom of the barrel.
A stainless steel damper indicator.

It has a free floating lid that is integrated into the exhaust stack/handle assembly.
