I live in Atlanta Ga, but grew up in Greenville, SC. I started cooking whole hog on block pits in college. Last year my girlfriend got me a cheep brinkman barrel smoker and smoked so much on it that it started to rust out within a year (it was stored indoors and had been seasoned properly too). I just got a 18.5 WSM for Christmas and just got a barrel and a drum kit to build at Big Pappa EDS.
