did a 3.5 lb chuck roast rubbed down with my beef rub which is heavy in the black pepper and salt.

smoked with pecan and blue bag k for 4 hours then braised in beer with peppers and onions for another 3. Served on bun with smoked provolone.

Wowsa! That looks good! How was the smoke flavor? Looks like a lot of wood in the basket.

smoke flavor was good, the braising washes out some of the flavor so I went heavy on smoke and rub.
