This was my first taste of BP's "Money" rub. I loved it! Thanks again BP!

Seasoned and into the drum with a kiss of mesquite...

When almost ready to pull the brisket I browned some bacon, sautéed onions, green chilies, garlic and tomatoes in the bacon drippings. Then added cooked pintos, seasoned with salt pepper and cayenne and placed the skillet in the drum to catch some smoke too.

The drum stayed at 275F for the whole cook. I didn't take the IT of the brisket, just pulled it when it was probe tender.
Let it set while getting other things ready.
