Slap Yo Daddy Chicken on the Drum

I had the chance to try Harry Soo's SYD Chicken rub last week.
Put a good sprinkle of rub on the thighs, then let them sit in the fridge for a couple of hours to form a nice coating.

Used the BPS drum..

added a skillet of layered, potatoes, onions, smoked cheese and creamed corn...

cooked the chicken until the juices ran clear...

It was very tasty! The chicken was nice and moist too.
Another great thing about the rub, it's carried at Big Poppa's! I didn't know that until today when I was looking for it online. lol

Looks real good. We had good luck on thighs too. I think letting it sit before cooking is a important part of the flavor

Even your pic of the skillet and chicken on the grate is a work of art! Evenly spaced, delicately placed... Just a work of art.

Oh yea... the finished product ain't too shabby either. :D
