Any BBQ Guru PartyQ Users Out There?

My son gave me gift cards at BBQ Guru for a temp controller for my BPS.

I want to get the PartyQ as I'd prefer the battery power and the lower cost.

One question for any current users of the PartyQ on a UDS:

Is the 6.5 CFM fan output sufficient for our cookers?

My son uses the 6.5 CFM PartyQ on his Primo and it works great (smaller unit obviously). I don't want to purchase a higher output fan unit unless absolutely necessary as it would cost more and would force me into 110V power supply.

Much thanks for input offered.

I have a PartyQ that I use on my drum & it works great. I let the drum come up to about 10-15* of my desired cooking temp before I attach the PartyQ. Also, when I need to open the drum for any reason, I turn the PartyQ off & close the ball valve about 5-10 mins before I open the lid. After closing the lid, I wait until I see the temp spike drop before I open the valve & turn it back on. This seems to hold down the temp spikes from opening the lid.
