Drums in Michigan?

I want to get started on my UDS, but am not having great success in drum hunting.

Can find solid motor oil drums here in town, but nothing else. Cutting off the lid doesn't work so well.

I'm in Oscoda, MI, about 100 miles north of any city of size.

Any Michiganians here with hunt tips?

My gratitude!

Check the yellow pages under drums and containers. Other than that, there may be some places online that can ship a drum to you. Check the big poppa website, I believe he lists some drum suppliers there.

Also, don't use a drum that has had chemical in it. Use food grade drums only. Best drum to order is a new unlined unpainted drum with an open head and a plain lid. You don't need a ring and bolt or a gasket. The gasket is actually kind of a PITA to remove (speaking from personal experience).

Good luck and happy hunting.
