Finally picked up drum today.. brand new and no charge! ( gotta love freebies ) I plan on building it sometime next weekend.. should I build it, do a burn in and then apply the high heat paint? Or should I just paint over the existing paint??

spark, The food is supposed to be messy, not the cookers! :)

Scallywag, just depends on how you want it to look. If ya want it looking nice, take your time and do it right.

I recommend building it . Take it all apart have it sandblasted and then paint with a high heat paint like engine paint . Which is shiny and takes 600 degrees . A little extra work, but will look real nice. And it cleans easier.
