Been a long time since I posted here but sunny CA has given me a nice weekend so its time to get back on the drum and have some delicious fun. I decided to start with some chicken thighs. I am not a pro BBQ guy so excuse my lack of terminology here I made these thighs the way Big Poppa showed me with a small twist and they came out great!
I will be using Simply Marvelous Spicy apple rub and a bit of BPS Cuckoo Racha for some kick. If you haven't tried the Simply Marvelous rub on chicken yet I recommend you do, plus it smells great while you sprinkle it
I sprinkled the chicken all over with the Simply Marvelous Spicy Apple rub, I then cleaned the inside part of the skin with the knife and sprinkled the BPS Cuckoo Racha rub.
Into the smoker they went (inside the foil pan and covered) for about 2 and a half hours on 220 or so. While that was going I boiled some potatoes, about 6 of them. Got a stick of butter and some BPS Jallelujah rub (god that stuff is good on EVERYTHING lol), about 1/3 of a cup of sour cream and a tablespoon of chicken bouillon powder. Mixed it all together till its wiped.
So here you have it, an easy to prepare meal that is delicious and satisfying.
