Chicken wings (AKA, the Sweet, Hot Boatright)

Kent Boatright from Uncle BCs Competition BBQ team sent me the recipe for this sauce. I still find it hard to believe that anything that tastes this good can trace it's origins to Oklahoma!

Sauce:
5 tablespoons of butter, melted
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup siracha hot sauce
2 teaspoons of lime juice

Mix it all together in a large bowl.

Cut your chicken wings into drums and flats, toss with an all purpose rub like Smokin' Guns Hot, add as much BPS Cuckoo Racha spicy chili dust as you can take and throw them on the rack of a 300 degree drum over direct heat. I use the middle shelf on my Gateway Drum. Cook for 30 minutes, flip, and go for 30 more. The fat should be bubbling under the skin and the wings should have a bit of color. Toss in the sauce and get down.

Enjoy!

I tossed these on my Gateway after I finished a couple of racks of ribs so I still had a little pecan burning, but not much. I don't think chicken needs much wood.
